Hi! I'm Sonya.

I am a native Texas girl from a community filled with love and the youngest of three children. My parents provided us with a sufficient foundation built on God, first and family. They provided us with a home filled with love and creativity.

I watched my mother cook, sing, design, sew and style clothes. My father and mother, both had a keen eye for fashion with an intrinsic style about them. I guess you can say that I come from fashionable people,

By the age of nine, I could design, hand stitch and style my own clothes with permission of course (smiling).

I know now that God placed this beautiful gift on the inside of me. I give Him all of the glory for it.

I have a Fashion Merchandising & Interior Design degree from Wade College in Dallas, Texas. I also have a Mass Communications /Drama degree from Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana.

My knowledge of the fashion industry expands over three decades. My very first job was with the “Lerner Shops”. From there would be the beginning of my retail styling career.

As a Wardrobe Stylist I love mixing texture, fabric and prints to life on the human body. Makeup is like painting on a blank canvas. I absolutely love it!

My client base ranges from the ”stay-at-home mom”, business professional to the socialite.

My goal is to help build your self esteem in the Lord, first. As we build, your confidence will grow in His knowledge of who you were created to be. I believe confidence must be established and founded upon solid Biblical principles. We will then move on to the outer, layering on fashioning the body in “Knowing Your Style“.

Remember, no matter the task I am your secret style agent!

It is said that, ”Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” I believe that true beauty comes from God. It is in your Divine DNA. It’s who you are.

Style, Substance, Solution... these three are in helping others to identify their unique style. Fashion trends will come and go, but your style is forever.

I can't think of a more appropriate way to welcome you into my world than to say... "J'adore la mode!"

Style vs. Fashion

Fashion is a popular way of putting ideas together for the runway or for a magazine in order to sell clothing.

Style is exclusive to each person.

Knowing the difference is what makes you stand out from the crowd and sets you apart from other fashion enthusiasts. Comparisons are invidious. Be original!

The Finale

This is called vision. What do you see when you look into the mirror? You have to see "it" before you see "it", the vision. A desired look must first begin with an image of the way you see yourself in the perfect outfit.
